Northampton Town Festival

Northampton Town Festival returns to The Racecourse on 1st and 2nd July!
12 - 11pm
The event features live stage entertainment, live action arena with stunt teams and displays, craft marquee, circus workshops, birds of prey, food vendors and bars plus fireworks on both Saturday and Sunday evening.
There will be a large Fun Fair for the duration of the event that will be open from 5pm – 11pm on Friday night.

Northampton Town Council will have an information stall at the event so please come and say hi to our team and find out about the services we provide for the community and the events and projects we are involved with.

Northampton Pride

Northampton's Pride Festival returns with the popular Pride Parade and a range of exciting performances and entertainment on Saturday 8th July, 11am-6.30pm.
The parade starts on Abington Street at 11am, making its way to Waterside Campus at The University of Northampton for around 11.50am. Come together to celebrate and stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ communities!

As part of the Northampton Pride Festival, Northampton Town Council are sponsoring a free screening of the British historical comedy-drama film 'Pride', staring Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton.
Based on a true story, it depicts a group of gay and lesbian activists who raised money to help families affected by the 1984 British miners' strike, and who would later become the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign.

Your Local Air Ambulance Open Day – Chester House Sponsored by Hankook Tyres

The Air Ambulance Service are welcoming everyone to come along and celebrate their 20 year anniversary of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance at an Open Day. It will be filled with stalls, activities, music and entertainment - lots of family fun as well as a chance to get up close and personal with the Helicopter (subject to being called out on a mission).
