Bands in the Park returns to the beautiful Abington Park bandstand for 2024!

Every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 7th April to 29th September an exciting and varied line up featuring local bands, singers and musicians will perform from 2 - 5pm.

Bring your own chairs, picnic blankets/rugs and relax within the picturesque surroundings of Abington Park!

Many thanks to The Park Café who have kindly sponsored three performances on the calendar.

Our first performance on the schedule features MILTON KEYNES BRASS on Sunday 7th April.

St George's Day Celebrations

St George's Day Celebrations

Bring your little ones along to the Northampton Guildhall Courtyard between 11am and 2pm on Saturday 20th April to celebrate St George's Day, with free activities galore and fun for all the family!

Juggling Jim will host his Knight School from 11am - 12.30pm, where kids can try challenges to become a knight of the castle, followed by Circus Workshops from 12.30 – 2pm, teaching juggling and balancing skills.
St George and his giant friendly dragon will entertain visitors throughout the day, along with creative themed crafts and storytelling sessions from the fabulous Wild Tribe. Plus face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon modelling with Agin.
Local Morris Dancers 'Rose & Castle' are set to perform at 11.30am and 1pm, while visitors can also take a journey through the town's past on the Notable Northamptonians trail.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Northampton will open the event with a flag raising and speech at 11am.
